I feel deeply honoured to have been felicitated during the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO) in recognition of my contributions as Executive Editor of the Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology (IJSO).

This recognition is a meaningful milestone in my professional journey and reflects the collective efforts of the surgical oncology community to advance medical knowledge, research, and academic excellence. Being associated with IJSO has been a privilege, allowing me to contribute to the dissemination of scientific research and the advancement of surgical oncology literature.
I extend my sincere gratitude to the leadership of IASO for this honour and appreciation. I am thankful to all colleagues, authors, reviewers, and editorial team members whose dedication and collaboration continue to strengthen the journal and its mission.
As we celebrate five decades of IASO’s contributions to surgical oncology, I look forward to continuing my efforts towards promoting high-quality scientific publishing, encouraging research, and supporting progress in cancer care.
This honour inspires me to remain committed to academic excellence and the continued advancement of surgical oncology in India and beyond.
Thank you to IASO for this recognition and for its enduring contribution to the field of surgical oncology.
